Tax Manager, State & Local Tax (Income / Franchise) - Remote Option

Responsibilities include:

1. Participating in compliance and consulting projects for multi-state alternative investment clients (hedge funds, private equity, real estate)
2. Providing industry knowledge and experience within a multi-disciplinary team
3. Reviewing tax calculations and state income tax returns
4. Building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring staff

Qualifications:

1. At least five years of recent experience with state income tax returns for pass-through and corporate entities, and advising on multi-state tax issues
2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; CPA, EA, JD/LLM, or MTX license; or the ability to obtain one within a year of employment
3. Experience with pass-through entities and relevant state tax concepts
4. Strong relationship-building skills, communication, and team management abilities
