The role focuses on leading tax engagements for individuals and businesses, supervising staff, and keeping up with tax law changes while delivering high-quality client service across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience in individual and business taxation.
• CPA or EA in progress is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with team members on all phases of the Tax engagement
• Review mostly business and some individual tax returns and provide timely feedback
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting developments and best practices
• Work with team members for continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and firm activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization
