The ideal candidate has CPA licensure, 3+ years of public accounting experience with a tax concentration, and a strong understanding of business issues in complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field required.
• Master's in taxation preferred; Master's in accounting beneficial.
• 3+ years public accounting experience with a concentration in small business and individual taxation.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements for accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns in compliance with tax requirements.
• Develop, implement, and document record-keeping and accounting systems.
• Lead research on complex accounting and tax issues and supervise staff research.
• Manage engagement planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and strategic development.
• Participate in tax planning and advise clients on tax strategies.
• Supervise staff, manage workflows, and conduct staff reviews.
