The role requires a CPA and a minimum of three years in public accounting focused on small business and individual taxation, with strong leadership and client relationship skills. On-site role in Phoenix with potential for marketing and business development work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or related field required.
• 3 years public accounting experience with a concentration in small business and individual taxation.
• CPA license required.
• Master's in taxation preferred; Master's in accounting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns.
• Develop, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems.
• Lead engagement planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and strategic development.
• Participate in tax planning and stay current on tax developments.
• Build client relationships with financial officers and partners; identify cross-sell opportunities.
• Supervise staff, manage workflows, and provide staff training.
