Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Active CPA status.
• Experience managing associates; coaching and reviews.
• Strong understanding of tax accounting for C-corps, S-corps, partnerships, LLCs.
• Familiarity with real estate / construction sector.
• Client-facing role with CFOs and financial executives.
• Proficiency with UltraTax, QuickBooks, RIA and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements for small to mid-sized businesses and individuals.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff; perform performance reviews.
• Work directly with clients to plan, optimize and implement tax strategies for the coming year.
