Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to lead compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across diverse industries. The role emphasizes delivery of clear insights and high-quality written work, with opportunities to mentor staff and drive client success.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, contribute to proposals, and help grow client relationships while navigating a dynamic tax landscape in a collaborative, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting, or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting.
• CPA License.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings.

Responsabilités

• Manage tax compliance and advisory services for individuals, partnerships, and corporations across various industries.
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and communicate findings clearly through written reports.
• Review tax return preparations completed by others to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Engage with senior client stakeholders to identify tax issues, offer insights, and implement practical solutions.
• Drive client service excellence by maintaining responsiveness and quality to foster long-term relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Support client growth and retention through strategic planning and business development.
• Contribute to proposals, showcasing firm value and assisting client acquisition.
• Mentor and manage tax professionals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage resources, budgets, and project workflows to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of engagements.
• Maintain technical expertise through CPD and adapt to regulatory changes.
• Contribute to thought leadership and internal training to elevate firm-wide capabilities.
