Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Wealth/PCS team in NorCal. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, families, and small businesses, working closely with firm leadership to drive client success and firm growth.

You will mentor and coach staff, developing their technical and professional skills, while benefiting from the firm's upward trajectory and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required
• Master's or advanced degree preferred
• CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required
• Five years of experience providing tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm
• Two years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
• Experience in Private Wealth/Private Client Services preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal and project management skills
• Ability to lead and supervise others and deliver exceptional client service

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities
• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corp, trusts, estates and gifts
• Engage in proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including estate, gift and generation-skipping tax
