Baker Tilly US in California is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Private Wealth/PCS team in NorCal. You will deliver tax compliance and business advisory services to individuals and small businesses while mentoring staff and collaborating with firm leadership to serve clients and grow the business.

You will work side-by-side with firm leadership, have a direct impact on the firm’s success, and enjoy opportunities for upward career trajectory and flexibility in how you work.

Formación

• CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required.
• Five years of experience providing tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
• Two years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Experience in Private Wealth/Private Client Services preferred.
• Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities.
• Perform complex individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, gift and state tax returns.
• Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and authorities and apply them to complex situations.
• Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
