Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license required.
• 5+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or industry/public mix.
• Strong client service and communication skills and ability to develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate primary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for partnership clients.
• Evaluate the tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704(b) accounts.
• Manage multiple client services teams on engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects across industries; market, design, and implement tax strategies; manage to budget.
• Lead, train and mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance for reviews.
• Research and consult on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation; use tax software to prepare/ research.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities.
• Maintain active client communication to manage expectations and deadlines.
