Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or licensed member of the Bar.
• 5+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or related environments.
• Strong analytical, technical and client-service skills for partnership taxation.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting for partnership clients.
• Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704b accounts.
• Manage and mentor staff on tax projects; plan and budget engagements.
• Provide tax planning, consulting and compliance services across industries.
• Research and consult on tax matters and use tax software to prepare returns.
• Respond to IRS inquiries and maintain client communications.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and deadlines.
