Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a senior tax professional to lead complex partnership tax engagements. You will review returns, provide innovative tax consulting, and manage client relationships while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires strong knowledge of Sub-chapter K taxation, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. Public accounting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification or licensed member of the Bar.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate primary reviews of complex tax returns and provide tax consulting services for partnership clients.
• Evaluate tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage IRC 704(b) accounts.
• Lead multiple client services teams on engagements and design, implement, and manage tax-planning strategies within budget.
• Mentor staff on tax projects and assess performance during reviews.
• Research and advise on Sub-chapter K partnership taxation and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients to manage expectations and deadlines.
