Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join our Maumee Tax practice. The role focuses on consulting with clients on tax planning and business processes, leading engagements, and developing staff. CPA certification is required, with JD or EA accepted in place of CPA. A minimum of 6 years in a tax role within public accounting is expected.

The successful candidate will mentor team members, engage with clients to drive strategic tax outcomes, and contribute to CLA’s growth in the tax practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required (JD or EA may be accepted in place of CPA).
• Public accounting experience preferred.

• Develop and train team members to help them build inspired careers.
• Foster and build opportunities for our clients, communities, and people.
• Become an industry professional and attend industry-leading events and trainings.

• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.

• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
• You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
