CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Tax Director/Manager to expand our Northeast Tax practice. This role focuses on client consulting, tax planning, and leading engagements across multiple states.

The ideal candidate will have CPA certification, 6+ years in a large firm, and strong leadership skills. Baltimore and other Northeast locations offer a collaborative environment with competitive compensation and benefits.

About The Role

CLA is looking to hire Tax Manager or Director for our growing Northeast Tax practice. Locations include: Baltimore, MD, Columbia, MD, North Bethseda, MD, Arlington, VA, Greenbelt, MD, King of Prussia, PA, and Bethlehem, PA.

As a Tax Director/Manager You Will

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning.

As Our Ideal Candidate

• 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management.
• 10+ years experience highly preferred.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• You have an active CPA certification. A JD or EA may be accepted in place of a CPA certification.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Maryland is: $116,000.00 – $187,000.00.
