Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Tax Manager for Not-For-Profit clients in the San Francisco area. You will deliver tax, accounting and advisory services, working closely with firm leadership to serve clients and grow the business while coaching staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (4-year) required.
• Master’s or advanced degree desirable.
• CPA, Law license, or Enrolled Agent required.
• Five years of NFP or corporate tax compliance and advisory experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience mentoring associates.
• Strong management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the team providing tax, accounting and advisory services to NFP clients.
• Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and financial statements.
• Review and analyze accounting records with clients and provide consultation.
• Deliver best-in-class service, ensuring responsiveness, timeliness and accuracy.
• Lead client engagements and drive process improvements.
• Provide business improvement recommendations based on client operations.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with team leaders.
• Delegate work, set goals and deadlines to meet client expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable tax laws and practices.
• Support staffing, billing/collections and profitability targets.
