NewEdge Capital Group is seeking a Tax Manager in Pittsburgh, PA to own the end-to-end tax compliance process. This hands-on, individual-contributor role reports to the office on a hybrid schedule 3+ days per week.

You will manage federal, multi-state, and local tax filings, coordinate with external advisors, and drive improvements across the tax function, including M&A strategy and property tax filings for a broad portfolio.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including multi-state income tax compliance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification (active or in progress) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state corporate income tax rules.
• Ability to independently manage a full tax compliance cycle.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end workflow for federal, multi-state, and local tax compliance calendar and filings.
• Prepare and/or review corporate income tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions.
• Manage annual income tax provision process, documentation, and footnotes.
• Monitor state/local tax law changes and assess impact on nexus and apportionment.
• Lead relationships with outside tax advisors and review deliverables.
• Maintain tax workpapers, calendars, and internal controls.
• Respond to notices, audits, and inquiries.
• Collaborate with accounting/finance on tax GL accounts and reporting.
• Lead tax analysis and strategy related to M&A.
• Build sales and use tax function across multiple states.
• Lead filings for personal property tax for ~50 properties across jurisdictions.
