Job summary

NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a Tax Manager in Warrendale, PA on a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in office). You will lead multiple client engagements, review complex returns, and deliver strategic tax planning while mentoring staff and maintaining strong client relationships across diverse industries.

• Active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax authority standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Proficiency with tax software and strong overall technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements.
• Prepare and review complex returns for various entities (high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, nonprofits).
• Review staff work for accuracy and adherence to budgets.
• Collaborate with managers and partners to grow client relationships.
• Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels.
• Resolve technical tax issues and respond to IRS/state inquiries.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client deliverables.
• Identify additional client needs and introduce relevant firm services.
