Job summary

Haynie & Company is seeking a Tax Manager to lead a high-performing tax team through complex tax projects. You will balance priorities, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships while driving firm growth.

The role requires strong leadership, tax knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks during busy season. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred), CPA preferred, and extensive public accounting experience in income tax for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
• CPA, preferred.
• Public accounting experience in income tax preparation and review for individuals, partnerships/LLCs, S corporations, and C corporations.
• Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing tax team delivering accurate and timely tax services.
• Foster positive and productive client relationships, ensuring clear expectations and satisfaction.
• Project manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and firm standards.
• Contribute to business development by supporting growth of existing client accounts.
• Implement and maintain efficient processes within the team to meet performance goals and ensure compliance.
