Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience collaborating with Financial Advisors preferred.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Accounting CS, and tax software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all aspects of the firm's tax practice.
• Grow into Director of Tax over the next 1-2 years.
• Develop tax practice strategies for clients.
• Conduct tax forecasting and projection analysis.
• Coordinate with Wealth and Health Advisors as part of holistic financial outlook to provide best outcomes for clients.
• Prepare accurate individual, corporate, trusts, and partnership tax returns, schedules, and forms.
• Review other tax team members work.
• Ensure all returns are filed timely and all taxes due are paid in accordance with regulations.
• Perform tax research.
• Conduct year-end tax planning to minimize tax liability.
• Stay current on tax law changes, regulations, and industry updates.
• Provide recommendations on financial results and tax implications.
• Communicate with all of the company clients across all departments regarding tax issues and updates through newsletters or emails.
