Job summary

Kforce's client, a progressive suburban Connecticut CPA firm, seeks a Tax Manager to review returns (1040, 1065, 1120) and conduct tax research. Direct communication with clients on engagement progress, issues, financial information, and tax strategy is required.

The Tax Manager will guide and manage junior staff, contributing to a unique culture with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive business and individual tax experience in public accounting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CPA and/or EAQ designation preferred.
• Experience using CCH Axcess is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review business and individual tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120).
• Direct communication with clients regarding engagement progress, issues and tax strategy.
• Guide and manage junior staff members.
• Perform effective tax research.
