Job summary

CLA is seeking a Tax Manager or Director to join our growing AFB practice in California. You will consult with clients on tax planning, lead engagements, and develop junior staff, while helping clients achieve strategic business outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in public accounting tax, a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, and a CPA (JD/EA accepted for Director). Agribusiness experience preferred and a passion for client service and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA certification.
• For the Tax Director position, a JD or EA may be accepted in lieu of a CPA certification.
• Agribusiness, food and beverage industry experience preferred.

• Perform a range of tax procedures in accordance with the size and complexity of the engagement.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
