CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) in California is seeking a Tax Manager or Director to join our growing AFB practice. You will consult with clients on tax planning, lead engagements, and develop staff to build inspired careers.

Candidates should have 6+ years of public accounting tax experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and an active CPA certification. For Director, a JD or EA may substitute for CPA. Agribusiness experience preferred. Compensation ranges from $112,700 to $190,000 USD annually.

• Active CPA certification required for Tax Manager; JD/EA may substitute for CPA for Director.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on tax planning and business processes.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.

• Foster opportunities for clients and communities.
• Attend industry events and trainings.
• Perform tax procedures according to engagement size and complexity.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
