Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning, and review engagements for a diverse client portfolio in the United States. The role requires a licensed CPA, strong leadership, technical tax knowledge, and client-management skills.

The Tax Manager will oversee the preparation and review of federal and state returns, lead tax provision work, and supervise a team of tax professionals. Enrolled Agent credentials are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• CPA licensed and in good standing, strong leadership and client-management skills.
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience including leading small teams or engagements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Lead tax provision calculations and year-end tax accounting coordination with finance and audit teams.
• Conduct technical tax research and apply tax law changes to engagements and processes.
• Supervise and develop tax staff; assign work and provide performance feedback.
• Serve as primary client contact for tax strategy, planning opportunities, and issue resolution.
