Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and consulting for a diverse client base, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts/estates, nonprofit organizations, and agricultural businesses. This role oversees federal and state returns, tax planning, and client service.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with deep tax knowledge, hands-on UltraTax experience, and proven leadership to mentor staff and grow the practice.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years progressive tax experience, including returns 1040, 1065, 1120/1120S, 1041, 990.
• Hands-on experience with UltraTax or equivalent software.
• Ability to review complex returns accurately and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review, and filing of federal and state returns (1040, 1065, 1120/1120S, 1041, 990).
• Provide tax planning recommendations to minimize liabilities.
• Mentor and develop junior tax professionals.
• Manage client relationships and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate multiple engagements and deadlines; ensure timely delivery.
