Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance, planning, and advisory services across a diverse client portfolio. The role requires CPA licensure and deep knowledge of federal/state taxes, with exposure to real estate, construction, and pass-through entities.

The ideal candidate will mentor a team, manage complex projects, and foster strong client relationships while staying current on tax laws and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting or industry tax experience.
• Experience with tax compliance and planning for partnerships, S-corporations, and individuals.
• Experience with real estate and construction clients; professional services preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Excellent leadership and coaching abilities.
• Strong tax research and writing skills; defendable positions for audits.
• Proficiency with tax software and Excel; tax provision/tools a plus.
• Outgoing with strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tax compliance for corporate, partnerships, S-corps, and individuals.
• Provide strategic tax planning to minimize liabilities and support client objectives.
• Mentor and supervise a team of tax professionals; review deliverables.
• Coordinate complex tax projects including M&A due diligence and multi-state filings.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; identify risks and opportunities.
• Review tax research and prepare opinions and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with audit/advisory/client accounting teams for integrated solutions.
• Stay current on tax laws; lead training and process improvements.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
