Qualifications

• Active CPA license required (or actively pursuing CPA designation).
• 5 to 8+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience (small to mid-sized firm experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Thomson Reuters tax/accounting software.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; strong detail orientation; self-starter mindset.
• Mobility: Reliable transportation with the ability to travel to local client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and oversee complex compliance (ASC 740, Section 704(b), partnership transactions).
• Mentor rising staff and act as trusted advisor to clients and leadership.
• Prepare financial statements with footnotes and manage IRS inquiries.
• Advise clients through major transactions including sales of partnership/LLC interests.
• Attend monthly networking events and build strong client relationships.
