Job summary

Mercer Advisors is seeking a Tax Manager to join our Tax Team. You will partner with wealth advisors to deliver high-level tax compliance services for high-net-worth clients, focusing on client service and efficient, non-billable-hour work life.

You’ll lead returns, projections, and analyses for individuals and entities, mentor staff, and stay current on tax law changes. Flexible schedule and collaborative environment offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• CPA and/or EA required; Master’s in Tax a plus
• Experience with tax preparation, review, and projections for individuals and entities

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and tax engagements for high-net-worth clients
• Prepare, review, and deliver income tax returns and projections
• Perform tax research and respond to questions from clients
• Mentor and supervise junior staff in the tax team
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and communicate implications to clients
