Mercer Advisors seeks a Tax Manager to join our Tax Team, collaborating with wealth advisors to provide tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth clients. You will lead client relationships, prepare and review income tax returns, projections, and analyses, and mentor a team while delivering exceptional client service.

The role emphasizes tax expertise, communication, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment, with no audits or assurance requirements and a strong work/life

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years public accounting experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA and/or EA required; Master’s degree in Tax a plus.
• Experience with CCH Axcess, Workflow, Practice, and SafeSend is a plus.
• Highly organized, tax-oriented, and able to handle high volume with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships and manage tax services for high-net-worth clients.
• Prepare, review, and deliver income tax returns, projections, and analyses.
• Provide timely, clear communication with clients and advisors.
• Mentor Senior Tax Associates and Tax Staff in the region.
• Stay current on tax laws and communicate impacts to clients.
• Research complex tax issues and respond to notices and questions.
• Collaborate with wealth management teams to coordinate client service.
