Pelican Production, Inc in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee U.S. federal and state returns, international tax, and planning. You will shape tax strategies and partner with leadership.

Join a team focused on protecting mission-critical products; the role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to impact global tax programs. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of tax experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax matters

Qualifications

• Degree required in accounting or tax field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience preparing corporate tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate taxation.
• Experience with ASC 740 and tax provisioning is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance.
• Prepare and review estimated tax payments and extensions.
• Manage ASC 740 tax provisions and reconciliations.
• Coordinate international tax compliance and audits.
• Support tax budgeting and planning efforts.
• Collaborate with leadership across Finance and Accounting.
