Job summary

Pelican3 Consulting LLC is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our Jupiter, FL office. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing federal and state returns for individuals and entities, with emphasis on pass-through taxation and multi-state work.

You will work with advisory and technology teams to automate repetitive tax tasks, coach staff, and communicate results clearly to clients. 2–4 years public accounting experience required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of recent tax experience in public accounting.
• CPA license, or EA with active progress toward the CPA.
• Solid grounding in pass-through entity taxation and individual returns; exposure to multi-state work is a plus.
• Comfort with modern tax software and a genuine interest in technology.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Organized, deadline-reliable, and honest about what you do not know yet.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, S corps, partnerships and C corps.
• Handle multi-state filings and research state and local tax questions.
• Review work prepared by associates and coach junior staff.
• Communicate with clients to gather information and explain results.
• Support tax planning engagements, projections, and quarterly estimates.
• Collaborate with advisory and technology teams to automate repetitive tax processes.
