Baker Tilly is seeking a Tax Manager in New York to deliver tax and advisory services to Financial Services clients, including ultra high net worth families and asset management clients. You will work with firm leadership, plan engagements, and guide staff development to grow the practice.

You will lead tax compliance, accounting and advisory work, maintain client relations, and help improve processes while keeping up with evolving tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• CPA, EA or law license required for the role.
• Minimum of five years of experience in tax and advisory services.
• Experience supervising and mentoring associates in a professional services firm.

Responsabilités

• Lead client engagements for private wealth and financial services clients.
• Review accounting records and provide analysis and consultations with clients.
• Oversee bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
• Manage client relationships and drive profitability targets.
• Coach and develop staff, delegating work and setting deadlines.
