Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax Manager in Warwick, RI to lead tax compliance and planning. The role requires CPA and 5+ years of tax management experience with strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws. You will manage returns, conduct research, and advise clients within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax management and strong knowledge of federal/state tax laws.
• Proficiency in using CCH software for tax return prep, research and planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation and review of federal and state tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct tax research and interpret tax laws to provide advice to clients.
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for clients.
• Liaise with federal and state tax authorities to resolve issues.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance and identify saving opportunities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
