HBK CPA is seeking a seasoned tax professional in Youngstown, OH, to manage complex tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses. You will work closely with senior leaders to deliver proactive guidance to clients and help grow the tax practice.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax including corporate, partnership, individual, trusts and estate planning, and resolving complex tax issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of various accounting software.
• CPA or law degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and firm team to provide tax planning, consulting and compliance.
• Specialization in individual and business tax returns, with concentration in flow-through entities.
• Ensure client and team satisfaction through open communication and deadlines.
• Work with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and staff on client management, development and business activities.
• Supervise and lead associate and senior associate team members to manage engagements.
• Develop skills to attract new clients and market the firm’s services.
• Keep abreast of legislative and professional changes and consult with clients on implications.
• Participate in client development through networking events and represent the firm in the business community.
• Display commitment to the Firm’s Culture and Client Service Principles.
