Qualifications

• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• CPA or eligible to obtain CPA within a reasonable time from date of hire.
• Ability to research and resolve complex issues with minimal oversight.
• Experience in planning and supervising larger engagements; tax return preparation experience is required.
• Solid research and writing skills, excellent verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients.
• Working knowledge of accounting, auditing and tax software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and/or execute assigned tax returns and accounting/consulting projects, working directly with Partners and Senior Managers.
• Complete moderately complex projects accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently.
• Supervise and lead members of our internal team to ensure client engagements and projects are delivered in a timely manner.
• Coordinate large client engagements, problem identification, tax law and computer model analysis, and help clients determine optimal strategies.
• Continually participate in professional development, including technical trainings.
• Demonstrate leadership in support of firm policies and promote teamwork and loyalty.
• Promote and create positive client and team impressions by exhibiting professional demeanor and competence.
