Tax Manager - Reading, PA

Position Overview

The Tax Manager will oversee a wide range of client engagements, prepare and review complex returns, resolve technical tax issues, and provide innovative tax planning solutions while developing tax staff and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring high-quality planning, consulting, and compliance services.
  • Prepare and review complex returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Review team members’ work for accuracy, completeness, and budget adherence.
  • Work closely with internal managers and partners to maintain and grow client relationships.
  • Mentor and coach tax staff at various levels.
  • Resolve technical tax issues and respond to IRS and state tax authority inquiries.
  • Ensure timely delivery of client deliverables and manage expectations.
  • Identify additional service opportunities and introduce relevant firm offerings.
