Position Summary:

As Tax Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing complex tax engagements for a diverse client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. This position involves a blend of technical expertise, client advisory, and team management, offering long-term growth potential within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Lead and supervise a team of tax professionals; review work, provide feedback, and support development
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct technical tax research and stay current on changing tax laws
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Collaborate with partners on firm initiatives and client development

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred
• 5–8+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
• Prior supervisory or management experience in a tax department
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Proficiency with tax preparation and research software (e.g., UltraTax, CCH)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a hybrid team environment
