Job summary

CRR is a growing CPA firm in Wakefield, MA, seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This role targets a seasoned, client-focused professional with 10+ years of public accounting experience, ready to lead with technical excellence and strong client relationships.

Responsibilities include supervising tax engagements, planning with clients and internal resources, mentoring staff, and building new client relationships while managing budgets and production goals.

Qualifications

• Public accounting experience required; 10+ years preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and client-focused.
• Experience with QuickBooks, ProSystem fx Tax, Word and Excel.

About the Role

Pay range and compensation package

In compliance with Massachusetts law, CRR is committed to pay transparency. The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $165,000 per year. Actual compensation is based on relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
