The ideal candidate holds a 4-year accounting degree (Master's/CPA a plus) and substantial income tax experience, including multi-state and international filings.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Accounting or related field (Master's/CPA a plus).
• Income tax preparation and review experience, ideally in entertainment business management.
• Experience managing a high-volume review book during compressed filing seasons.
• Strong computer skills including QuickBooks, Excel, Word, Outlook (Lacerte a plus).
• Experience with forms 8840, 8858, 5471, 5472, etc.

A dynamic firm in Southern California is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. This role is based outside of Woodland Hills. The role involves a variety of tax responsibilities, from preparation and review to strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns for entertainment-industry clients


• Prepare tax projections, quarterly estimates, and multi-state/international filings


• Prepare and review foreign filings and treaty positions


• Conduct tax research and respond to tax notices


• Mentor junior staff and support department operations

Comp: Up to 185K

Full-time/ Direct-hire

On-site near Woodland Hills.
