Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a detail-oriented Tax & Licensing Analyst to coordinate state and local tax registrations, property tax payments, licenses, and related compliance across about 60 operating locations. This role serves as the internal owner of compliance calendars, notices, accounts, and renewals.

Based in Peachtree Corners, GA, you will work with internal teams and outside providers to ensure timely registrations, accurate information flow, and on-time payments while avoiding penalties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in tax administration, payroll tax, business licensing, property tax, compliance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of deadlines across multiple jurisdictions and locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, government agencies, and outside providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate state and local tax registrations across locations.
• Manage property tax bills, due dates, payment status, and supporting documents.
• Maintain a clear list of business licenses and permits needed at each site and renewals.
• Coordinate with third-party tax, payroll, property tax, and compliance providers.
• Create calendars, trackers, and status reports to highlight deadlines and open items.
