Job summary

DOZ in Indiana invites you to join a structured, full-time internship in our in-office team. You will work 55 hours weekly during peak season, gaining hands-on tax preparation experience for partnerships, individuals, personal property, and corporations.

You’ll be mentored at three levels, review progress regularly, and complete around 200 returns over 3.5 months while gaining real-world, deadline-driven experience in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting major working toward the credit-hour requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• Cumulative GPA and major GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course before the internship begins preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and training before client engagements.
• Prepare partnership, individual, personal property, and corporate tax returns.
• Learn from team members with diverse experience and knowledge.
• Complete an average of 200 tax returns within 3.5 months.
• Meet with your in-charge to review progress and sharpen skills.
