Job summary

Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski, LLC is offering a full-time, in-office internship in Carmel, IN from January through mid-March. Interns will work about 55 hours per week, with peak weeks up to 65 hours during busy season.

You will complete onboarding, prepare various tax returns, and learn from a seasoned team while aiming to produce around 200 returns in 3.5 months. Strong CPA prep mindset and reliable transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• Accounting major working toward CPA exam eligibility.
• GPA 3.0+ (cumulative and major GPA preferred).
• Completion of at least one intermediate accounting course preferred.
• Willingness to take spring semester leave and commit to 55+ hours weekly.
• Reliable transportation to the office and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Complete onboarding and training before client engagements.
• Prepare partnership, individual, personal property, and corporate tax returns.
• Learn from team members with diverse experience and knowledge.
• Complete an average of 200 tax returns during the internship.
• Meet with your in-charge to review progress and sharpen skills.
