Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting.
• Progress toward CPA eligibility; strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
• Organize and analyze tax documents received from clients.
• Conduct basic tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate with team members to resolve open items and gather additional documentation.
• Prepare supporting workpapers in accordance with firm standards.
• Utilize tax preparation software and internal systems.
• Support the tax team in meeting important filing deadlines and client deliverables.
• The experience gained as an intern during busy season is the equivalent of a first-year associate.
