Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a tax intern to support client engagements and internal tax work. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with accounting tasks, data analysis, and collaboration across teams. This in-person internship requires regular office or client-site presence.

You will gain exposure to tax software, learn tax processes, and contribute to a supportive team environment while pursuing CPA exam eligibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (completing corporate or individual taxation class is required)
• GPA around 3.0 or higher preferred
• Working toward CPA exam eligibility
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests promptly and professionally
• Gather necessary information from clients for required documents
• Use data analysis to identify patterns and provide actionable insights
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency
• Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections as directed
