Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a diligent accounting student for a tax-focused role in the United States, with in-person attendance required. You will prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections under guidance, using current tax software and research to support engagement leaders.

Work closely with clients and firm professionals, participate in interviews, and help analyze data to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (tax coursework required).
• Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Working toward eligibility to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm associate requests in a timely, accurate, positive and professional manner.
• Respond to inquiries from client and work with client to gather necessary information for completion of required documents.
• Use data analysis skills to discover useful information and patterns to provide support in recommendations.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities in processes to enhance efficiency.
