Job summary

Cohen & Co internship program offers hands-on client experience and training to launch your career in the professional services industry, with exposure to tax, advisory work, and our Great People First culture.

The program runs early June–early August 2028, with full-time (32–40 hours/week) or part-time (20–25 hours/week) options; you’ll receive ongoing feedback and have opportunities to engage in firm-wide initiatives and community service.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting.
• Successfully completed introductory accounting coursework and at least one intermediate accounting course.
• GPA: Minimum 3.0.
• Journey to CPA: Pursuing required credit hours to sit for the CPA Exam.

Responsibilities

• Tax: Dive into tax compliance, prepare returns, conduct research, and perform planning duties.
• Build Relationships: Connect with peers, mentors and engagement teams through client work, firm events and internship program experiences.
• Grow Your Skills: Receive ongoing feedback to help you sharpen your technical skills and develop as a professional.
• Get Involved: Jump into firm-wide initiatives like business development, recruitment, DEI efforts, and community service; choose what inspires you most!

Estimated Base Range: $20-$40 per hour

*Base compensation offered to candidates are determined based on factors such as candidate's relevant skillset, experience, licensure, and certifications, as well as job responsibilities, geography, market considerations, and organizational needs.
