Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting or taxation.
Solid accounting knowledge and a basic understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; willingness to learn specialized tax software.
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical and deductive reasoning skills; effective written and verbal communication.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills; able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, trust, estate, gift, foundation, and business tax returns accurately and on a timely basis.
Review tax source documents and data processed through OCR for accuracy.
Conduct tax research to support planning and compliance with current tax legislation.
Assist withFederal and State tax notices and audits for clients.
Maintain detailed and organized tax files and supporting documents.
