Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting; pursuing masters preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Actively pursuing school credits to become a CPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to prepare simple tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and extensions under supervision by Core Tax Services professionals.
• Assist with tax compliance and ensure client data meets filing requirements.
• Support with notices from the IRS and projections of year-end filings.
