Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass, P.C. is seeking interns to join its tax team for the spring semester.

Interns will gain hands-on experience performing various client work for a range of clients, including corporations, partnerships, individuals and financial institutions. The program runs January 2027 through April 15, 2027. Responsibilities include preparing reports and work papers, drafting tax returns, addressing review comments promptly, and computing quarterly estimated tax payments.

Qualifications

• Internship to start during junior or senior year; master's candidates considered.
• GPA 3.0 or greater preferred.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri); set schedule required.
• Occasionally Saturdays may be needed beginning 3/1 through the end of the internship (4-6 hours).
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with good time management skills.
• Snodgrass does not currently sponsor candidates for employment

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare a variety of reports and/or prepare work papers in accordance to the firm’s standard of quality
• Prepare various types of tax returns as directed, as well as address review comments in a timely manner
• Prepare quarterly estimate tax calculations
