Job summary

S.R. Snodgrass PC in Cranberry Township, PA offers a tax internship for students in their junior or senior year. You'll gain hands-on experience preparing reports and tax returns for a variety of clients, from community banks to SEC-registrants, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Internship to start during candidate’s junior or senior year; candidates completing their master’s program will also be considered
• GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week (Monday through Friday); set schedule required
• Occasionally Saturdays may be needed beginning 3/1 through the end of the internship (4-6 hours)
• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized with good time management skills
• Snodgrass does not currently sponsor candidates for employment

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare a variety of reports and/or prepare work papers in accordance to the firm’s standard of quality
• Prepare various types of tax returns as directed, as well as address review comments in a timely manner
• Prepare quarterly estimate tax calculations
• This internship is hybrid, meaning it will be a combination of remote and in-office work; candidates must be able to be in the office on a regular basis (minimum of 50% working in office)
