Job summary

Atrium is seeking a Vertex system administrator to manage Vertex O Series and related indirect tax applications for a large global client from Alpharetta, GA. You will serve as the liaison to the Indirect Tax Shared Services Team and IT, overseeing configuration, upgrades, and integrations with ERP systems.

The role emphasizes tax technology expertise, collaboration with SAP and ERP teams, and driving automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Vertex O Series experience required.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Certifications related to AI and automation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Vertex O Series, Vertex Indirect Tax Accelerator, and related indirect tax applications.
• Tax technology SME for SAP and ERP configurations, implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain indirect tax reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Support GL reconciliation activities in Vertex and SAP ensuring integrity for audits.
• Identify and implement AI and automation tools to streamline indirect tax processes.
• Assist in documenting tax technology configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Develop recommendations for system enhancements and process standardization.
• Participate in tax transformation projects and Shared Services initiatives.
• Advise on tax-related inquiries from Accounting, AP, AR, Procurement, Operations, and IT.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain Vertex O Series, Vertex Indirect Tax Accelerator, and related indirect tax applications.
• Tax technology SME for SAP and other ERP-related tax configurations, implementations, upgrades, and integrations with other tools throughout shared services
• Develop and maintain indirect tax reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Support GL reconciliation activities in Vertex and SAP ensuring integrity for audits
• Identify and implement AI and automation toolsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to indirect tax processes and controls.
• Assist in documenting tax technology configurations, workflows, and procedures.
• Develop recommendations for system enhancements and process standardization.
• Participate in tax transformation projects and Shared Services initiatives.
• Advise on tax-related inquiries from Accounting, AP, AR, Procurement, Operations, and IT.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with Vertex O Series required.
• Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience or certifications related to AI and automations
