Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a proud division of General Dynamics, invites students to join the Spring 2027 Finance - Tax Collegiate Associate Intern program in Savannah, GA. The role offers hands-on experience in federal and state tax reporting, with exposure to indirect tax filings and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work with experienced tax professionals on real-world projects, supporting the monthly close and tax compliance efforts while developing professional connections

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in Tax, Business, Finance or Accounting.
• Must be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
• Minimum duration: 12-16 weeks; on-site internship, not remote.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of Federal Tax Returns and supporting tax adjustments.
• Assist with the preparation of property tax and sales tax returns.
• Partner with the accounting team to assist in the monthly closing process, including journal entries and account analysis.
• Provide value-added analysis and drive continuous improvement recommendations.
• Perform special projects and ad-hoc management reporting as required.
• Enforce safety rules and Gulfstream regulations.
